I just put up a couple of shots, a masse and a frozen kiss beater, on my blog. They are samples from my upcoming banking DVD. Go to my website and click on "Blog." Take a look.

I saw Terry Ardeno's post and checked out your site last night Fred.
A couple of very nice shots I'm sure it will attract many students of the game who love to play banks. That first shot isn't a kiss shot? It looked wierd but very impressive. Philw

Love the new blog, Freddy. Reading about your Archie Caras story is fascinating. I've met him a number of times when out in Vegas. My impression was he wouldn't gamble with anyone at pool without the stone-cold, unbeatable, pumpkin-sized nuts.

He seems like a shrewd guy. I wonder if that's because he's the town "mark?" I wish you had your hustle on tape--- would pay $$$ to watch that.

How did Archie play?

Archie is not even a shortstop speed player. He is a B- player at best. But he does know how to match up and will play his best the bigger the bet. He can get it into nosebleed territory quick and make his opponent have trouble breathing. And he does not need the mortal nuts either. A good game with someone he can win something off of is all he asks for. He figures he can out gamble them. And guess what, he can....most of the time!

Who Archie is, is just one of the shrewdest, most fearless and best gamblers on the planet. He can go from a few thousand to half a million in days and has done it many times. I've never seen anyone quite like him. Once he gets ahold of 100K or more, he is a threat to run that up to a million in cash very fast.

He told me once that since he made that big score and lost most of it back, he has had a million or more in cash about once or twice each year. The highest being about three mil. That's why Archie is a legend among gamblers. If the dice get hot in his hands the casino begins to get worrried.
He has been known to request that places like Caesars Palace and the Mirage raise their limits for him.

Most high stakes poker players will pass on a heads up match with him. He's busted too many of them already.

Looks good. Any DVD release dates yet?

We're filming the DVD as we speak. The editing is a slow laborious process. I would love to have the video available by the Olympics at Derby City in Nov.

Nice shot... I can do that too, but only when I'm not trying to..... I'm patiently waiting for this video to drop, in the mean time maybe I'll pick up some of your other works..... Big fan of bank-pool, probably one of the only big fans down here.
