+1 for slowed down
Wax can make the curve happen half as fast. I'd look at the shot again to check the stick speed, but it has been deleted.+1 for slowed down
Maybe the cue ball was waxed.See how your shot the CB is arching immediately?
On the FB video, the CB hugs the rail for a short while (straight line motion), THEN arcs around the ball, and then hugs the rail again (straight line motion). That doesn't seem normal to me.
I heard it called "high karate" by Incardona and DiLiberto in commentary. At snooker, it's called a "banana shot". At carom, it's "double the rail with follow". Side spin is not required but it can help depending on the angles. It is also called a "hug the rail" shot. Here is an extended version from Robert Byrne's book on trick and fancy shots. The technique is really, really old.... but I thought High Karate was ...
Not doctored. With a little practice that is not a difficult shotAgree, it's a good shot to know. My question is do you think this particular video is doctored in some way.
Are you referring to my video or the FB vid?Maybe the cue ball was waxed.
Dude just assumed the position and hit it. Damn...Nice 'Trick Shot' for Pool!
It's Real!
On a scale from 1-10 as a 3C trick shot, it would be a '3'!
This would be a '10+'! A Big Bend!
