I just went through some of the web page script and found this:

Computer Virus/Worm from AzBilliards' Members' Personal E-mail Accounts

It could be that the AZ Billiards web site is infected. I asked Mike Howerton to check this out in a previous thread.

Maybe your anti-virus program is NOT blocking this message.

It's only for Yankee haters LOL

Some people just hate winners :-)

About a month ago AZ got a virus & was down for a little Hope this helps.

You know, I did not see the pool table. I was kind of not into pool during this time of my life, so I may have missed it if they brought it out on the field.

I just remember him running the perimeter of the field. We all rushed down to the rail. We were three rows from catcher's plate. When Cal ran around the field, my brother, who was sporting a purple shirt, was on the CNN newswire. I couldn't see above the people who were in front of me. It was a real celebration that day. I paid $800 each for two tickets. We didn't even think about going until the morning of. I called one of those ticket agencies and paid top dollar. It is a happy memory, so I guess it was worth it! :)

No one knows that table!!! I thought I was at AZB...

I was there at Camden Yards when Cal broke the record. I have a lot of souvenirs and collectibles. ;)

Of course, they won't be worth much until after I'm gone. Cal signed a lot of things for the fans. He made Orioles fun!

The strange thing about those Yankees, when you go to Baltimore to see the home team play at Camden Yards, there's more Yankees in the stands than Orioles fans. It's kind of scary when you root for the home team, if you know what I mean. :D

Yep, big fan of Cal's as well....and I'm from CHicago. I have a 10 x 10 room in basement with Cal signed jerseys, gloves, photos, bats, lunch boxes, rookie cards, coins, candy bars, bases, collectable steins, and of course a ticket from his 3121 game, his 400 HR game, a world series game, and his 3000 hit game... been collecting his stuff for years......

Finally met him at a card signing in Chicago. He was there with about a 12 other famous ball players. Well, you buy a ticket for a signature, get in line, and Cals signs whatever you bring him.(I had him sign an 8ball since he wore number 8), then afterwards he poses with you for a photo, I"ve never been to a card signing where anyone would do that....... cool dude...

A beauty of a table too'

Jen, I was advised by someone that appeared knowledgeable in these matters that besides scanning with malware and anti-virus to CHANGE your email password. That may stop the ability to continue hijacking your contact list.

Can't hurt...

I'm not sure how this happened, but by BF's e-mail account has received three e-mails from AzBilliards' members that are infected with a worm or virus.

I post this thread as an alert to those who may not realize they have a computer virus. I think it might be called a "worm." What happens is it goes into your e-mail account address book and sends an infected e-mail to everybody in your address book.

If you get one of these, don't click the link. I recognized it right away, so nothing happened to our computer, but others may not be as lucky.

In sum, if you receive an e-mail from an AzBilliards friend, be careful if there is only a link to click, no message, and a "no subject" in the Subject line. This could be a virus/worm that could infect your entire computer, so beware!

Any advice on how to stop an email account from sending out these emails and correcting the problem once it has occured?

So where is the infection in the code? The navbits image is standard with
vBulletin.
