Last night Justin Bergman won the 1p title in Tunica defeating Busty in the finals.

He had to play two sets with Busty in order to claim the prize.

Also, he had to make it through Corey in the semifinals.

Justin captured the attention of many and incredibly, after seeing him play in only 1 match ever, Danny DiLiberto exclaimed (prior to the start of the finals) "this kid moves better than Busty".

How's that for a compliment to a 22 year old player?

Danny also kept going on about how amazingly patient Justin is for his young age.

I think we'll be seeing much more of this guy in the years to come.

Congrats on your impressive win.

Congratulations to America's New Kid on the Block: JUSTIN BERGMAN!

:clapping::clapping::clapping:

Great to see some new blood in the pool world climbing to the top.

Way to go, Justin. Congratulations on your win.
This is the first time I've heard the name Justin Bergman, but I'm sure it won't be the last.
One Pocket has a new jungmeister!

Justin

He is 25. He just started playing again very recently and used to play at a very high level a few years ago. See his TAR matches against John Morra and Oscar. He was the best in and around St.Louis when he was a teenager. We are so excited for him to come back. All of the pool community here has been blowing up over his big win.

He had a strong showing in the Ultimate 10 ball too. Definitely another young up and coming player from the USA. Very promising.

Justin never played Oscar on TAR.

The game has been unleashed. St Louis is and has always been a one pocket town. Lots of great players here. Dean Higgs, Bill Crowell, Ricky Van Uum, Gary Sills, Mark Obrien. Names many of you don't know but ones that road players didn't have to like when coming thru.

Good to see that everyone can notice that Justin has been, is and will be a great player. He can not only shoot straight but is triple smart at the table.

I thought he played him and thought it was tar. Please excuse my ignorance.

Believe he has won 4Bears 8 ball over SVB , and won the 8 and 9 ball at Fargo Billiards mid summer deal .

I thought he played him and thought it was tar. Please excuse my ignorance.

It was John Morra that Justin played on TAR in 2008... Justin absolutely destroyed him. Justin has been a great player since his early teens... he's no new kid on the block.

In the land of young American players Justin Bergman is one that impressed me greatly when I saw him in Vegas wining one of the bar box events there. I expected him to make a larger dent in the pro scene to date then he has and is is good to finally see him knock off a pro event. I hope he can get out of the pool room and gambling life and more into the touring professional world, playing in all of the major events in the USA and abround.

That kid right there is one of the few chances of a new young top professional to compete against the world alongside SVB that America has atm.

Congrats to ya Justin, Glad to see ya jump back into the saddle doing what you do best....!!!!!!!

I thought he played him and thought it was tar. Please excuse my ignorance.

Last time he played he Oscar that I know of was out in LA several years ago -- he spotted Oscar the 9 playing 10 ball on the Devil Table and lost.

I'm curious to see this kid grow. Think if he can develop a big break he can go places????? Let's hope!!!!

They keep putting Justin in jail....but he keeps finding a way out.

He's the Bergman of Alcatraz.

Congrats to JUSTIN BERGMAN on joining the ranks of Champions at the SC.
Continued success for the future...now you're on everyone's radar. The road gets more tougher and exciting!!!
ENJOY!!!

I remember watching him play and play against him when he was 12 in Belleville, Illinois. All those lessons with Mark Wilson are paying off. I knew he would be really good if he stuck with it.
Congrats Justin!

I met Justin when he was about 12 years old at a Junior National event in the Quad Cities. He was a little short fella who shot side arm. He was a fierce competitor and DID NOT like to lose!

Congrats to him on his win.
