Yes, they have some players in Texas. My open team took second place two years in a row in the Swel Texas State tourney. One year it was even played in Oklahoma?!?! Right on the Red river. Yes they invite Okies to play in their state tourney. They were very cordial when you consider the rivalry between our football teams. Texas has some of the most beautiful women in the world also.

Yer rite bout them Texas gals, they shore r pretty. I got hitched to one of them beauts one time. Regrettably, them marriage vows didn't take.

Not sure what you mean here? You took 2nd at the state tourney in TX or you took 2nd at the SWEL end of season tourney.

I know that the SWEL league was one of the biggest in TX and they had some divisions over the border up in OK. At he TX BCAPL tournament there were always players based out of OK but played in the TX state tourney.

I also know that SWEL had end of season tourneys in OK because your league Op got added money for the event by hosting them in Indian Casinos
 
I believe you missed Mike Voelkering from Texas who placed 5-6th in the 8-Ball Mens Open Singles. :p Great shooting Mike!

The title said "Top Finishers" and since someone from TX got 1st I didn't list the others. I only listed the top finishers from TX, not every player or team.

Someone with more time than I have can take on that adventure :)
