Thorsten just won the Philippine Open in a Hill-Hill final match against compatriot Ralph Souquet, who manages a top 2 finish in about everything he plays in. Congratulations to both in an all german final.

To win any pro event is great BUT to win one in the Philippines, doesn't get much better, congrats bud.
 
Way to go Toastie!!! What a disciplined young man. I wonder when you are going to start seeing the Pinoys working out in the gym like Mika, Thorsten and others. Could be scary.
 
Very nice feat indeed!

You gotta feel for Ralf though, he lost almost every big finals he's been in recently starting with the 2009 US Open

true. but if you make it to so many finals you're bound to lose a couple in a row. great year for him so far. 2nd in the masters, 1st at SBE and now 2nd in the Philippines.
