Those on Facebook already know this, but yes, Tony popped the question as a Christmas gift to Gail. Gail's Facebook profile has a beautiful teary-eyed Gail, displaying her hand to the camera, sporting a gorgeous engagement ring!

So, *so* happy for Tony & Gail! Lisa and I knew it was going to happen, sooner or later, they're such a lovely couple!

Congratulations, you two! You make the NY crowd proud!

Very nice! I've not had the pleasure of meeting either one, unfortunately. Tony seems to be a class act and a great ambassador for pool. And, Gail! Smart, genuine and gorgeous. Congratulations to the two of them!!
 
Congratulations indeed to a couple of good friends. In fact, Gail is a neighbor of mine. They are delightful, endearing people who rub everybody they meet the right way.

Tony and Gail are and have been very positive forces in our sport in so many ways, and given how much joy they bring to others, it's only fitting that they'll bring joy to each other for a lifetime.

I've often argued that Tony Robles will make a great Mosconi Cup captain, and with Gail at his side, I don't see how Team America could possibly fail when Tony's turn comes.

I've had the total pleasure of knowing Tony for several years and playing with him. He is the ULTIMATE gentleman. At a mutual friend's house, we were playing some. I missed a bank and he gave me a full half hour banking lesson for which he REFUSED my offer of payment.

I've met Tony (briefly) on a few ocassions. Finally met Gail at this year's Open. Their genuineness.. genuinity... genuflecting? Oh whatever... They are perhaps the mostest nicest folks that I've run into. Bout dam time Tony! I'd have tried to lock her down on the second date!
