Broadcasters do pay attention to viewer comments, so let's contact ESPN and thank them for showing the women's pool match.

Yes, you have to register with some contact information, so you'll probably get an promo email or two...but that's a small price to pay for the chance to promote pool.
Everybody talks about promoting pool and getting it on TV. Will you take this one, simple step to make it happen?
I will send the message but, the only reason they had it on was they picked the worst thing they had, bowling and pool so as not to waste their good programming against the football playoffs. They don't care anything about pool.
You are exactly right. They don't regard pool as a timely sport, just an exhibition. In other words, they can show something like pool or a rodeo and it doesn't matter if it was ten years ago or yesterday. No one cares about who wins or even knows the players, they just like to watch the game played. They have actually said this.It would be FANTASTIC if pool could become regular filler programming. It's a heck of a lot more than we've got now.

ESPN likes pool just as much as hockey, almost as much as football and slightly over baseball.....they just don't have any pool representatives talking to them, so this thread is a very positive thing......next we send in the "girls".

What do you base that on? I don't see them clamoring for the rights to set up at the Derby and tape it. It cost money to do that and they don't seem to want to spend the time money to do it. If they really liked pool so much you could not keep them away if they thought there was a market for it. I respect your opinion but there doesn't seem to be any historical evidence to support it.
