Contest - Challenge - Cue Makers

Chris, glad to see you in. This is an outstanding thread with all kind of good intentions at heart. I hope all remain civil to each other. As far as a charity. It would seem that Tom ( who is donating 3 kits ). The original 3 cue makers ( their materials and time ). Chris and anyone else jumping in ( at their total expense plus time ) should come to a consensus amongst themselves as to a charity(s) to donate. I've got my seat belt buckled and into this for the long ride. Good luck to all and have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. Jim

Glad to see you got in on this Doug! Everyone should get to see some the work you been doing.

This man makes a great looking and on top of that, a great hitting cue. Good luck to everyone!

I agree 100%. I shoot with one of his cues now and have another coming soon.

Have not heard much about this lately. Tom was it ever decided as to what was going to happen with these? Are they being judged or auctioned off for charity or? I am just curious and can't wait to see what everyone has done. Good luck guys!

Sorry, I thought we went through this. The Cue Makers can keep all the money or elect to give part or all to charity.

When I felt the Charity thing was getting out of hand I posted I would give to a charity which I did, my fav the No Kill for Dogs and Cats.

I am retired, the Cue Makers are not. I am not like Bill Gates by any means but have a few bucks.

This I felt was an interesting project to view results and have some fun. :)

OK thanks. I must have missed all that. Sometimes I don't always get a chance to log on like I would like to and spend time looking around. Have a good one!

Don, I am sorry, I should not have used your quote.

By PM and Email I have been sent the same questions and felt it time to bring it to a head.

Yours was just the one that poped up on the Site at the time for me to answer.

Sorry Bud

No problem Tom, this has been a great idea and I look forward to seeing the results.

With only a little over a month left I am getting close. Most of the inlays are in. I should make the deadline of July 1st.

Yes, I would call that a teaser. That only shows what we all started with. :)
I got mine totally turned to size today and installed the joint pin.
I have some accent inlays going in now and I should be able to do the finish soon.
