yeah i might have exaggerate when i say i can play with anything. but within reason i can hold my own. i may not play my best but i'll still get out from time to time
i'm with you on this partner, I can play good pool with anything....if all they got is one with a mushromed head and a warp then I'll chop off the sides with my pocket knife, mark the bend and run out.
Some cues look like Sh*t, some feel like sh*t, but especially today they all hit well enough to do basically what ever you need.
YEA Cuetek's cues in the 90's were not the best by any means, weak tolerances and it came with RHINO LINING....installed for FREE! Hot DAM every up and coming bar player gets one, they kinda picked up where Meucci left off and built some real cheap cues that played pretty sporty for a $100.
Earl won like what.......5 world championships with Cuetek?
he was using the real thing too, seen them hit balls with them and watched earl win matches with them.
Of course we each have our personal preferences but the fact is that any good player should not have a problem with most cues out there....if you play with a cue you get used to it given time.
Its only better playing or whatever when they define what "better" is....its all completely arbitrary, I've hit with $150 cues that hit the ball as good as any other made on the planet.
Finding the cue for you is like a connoisseur finding his favorite wine after tasting for 10yrs lol.....
most advice will lead you to a good enough cue that hits well, especially if its coming from this forum IMOP
