These were given to me by my friend Gian Calise. He is responsible for the "Roadrunners Rediscovered" article in the October 2006 Pool & Billiard Magizine. My roadrunner poster is one of the origionals. It is one of only 5 to 10 in existance because it is signed Jim "King James" Rempe. Othes are available at Billiard Cue .com. The other photo is of the best 1 pocket players in the world. Ronnie Allen, Jersey Red, Eddie Taylor ( The Knoxville Bear) and our own Grady Mathews. In their day, they couldn't be beat. I am not sure when this photo was taken.Maybe Grady can tell us about it. I hope you enjoy them. They are on my pool room wall in the basement.

I guess I am not such a good listener. Maybe I burned up 1 to many brain cells in my yout! Please, pray tell, who is it then. I do know he is one of the best 1 hole players that ever lived. I do know that I heard that.

A Ghost With A Camera ?

I think I see the 'ghost of Christmas past' just over Grady's right shoulder in the second picture.

It is as Don said, Jack Breit better known as Jersey Red. Not Billy Burge AKA Cornbread Red. Jersey Red was left handed Cornbread was right handed. Great pic of Fatty, Danny Jones, Grady and Cornbread though. I do see where Don did edit his post though.

Hemi, I was wrong until 1pocket corrected me. I edited my post when I realized I was wrong. I did know it was something Red. Now I know. Do you have any idea when this picture was taken?

The first photo of, Larry Liscotti, Jim Rempe, Danny Deliberto and Mike Sigel was taken in the mid 70s. The second of, Ronnie, Jersey Red, Bear and Grady looks to be from circa 1990. Could easily be the 80s too.

Nice pics Don, are you sure you did'nt mean to put yourself in that one- pocket photo.:) next time hold the camera at chest height and get your face in there.

That would depend on who is selling them. If Grady sold them he might get $100. Red might get $200. Danny would get more like $500 and if Fatty was selling them he would have you believeing they were a steal at $1K.
