I disagree. Every pro player knew exactly what the state of the sport was going in. Just like every person who works in the industry does. No one goes into pool expecting to retire wealthy. At least no one with any sense.
He isn’t in top 10 in the world for sure, still top 30.
Last time I saw Corey play on Mosconi team he was struggling and Johnny Archer had to help him out just to get through their doubles match.
Corey is not going to beat SVB or Archer.

I really doubt archer or svb would play corey a set of ryo 9 ball

You can't be serious? Corey is NOT going to play SVB

So you guys really think corey is not the favorite playing ryo 9 ball? Are you guys just messing with me?
I couldnt agree more...earlier this month I had the choice between Shooter's one pocket tournament, or the monthly Deep Stack poker tourney in OK...I chose the Poker...it took me 7 hours including drive time, I won 1st and it paid 2200.00...Banks Jr. won the One Pocket...I think it took 2 or 3 days and paid 850.00....unfortunately it is really a no brainer when faced with these choices...There seems to be some sort of a tie between pool players and golf. I have heard several times in jest that it is the same game, only a bigger playing field. Kim Davenport once earned more in one weekend, playing golf in Hawaii, than he did in a year of playing pool.
Tournament players are making more money playing poker, than a year's worth of pool. As one post stated above, the money is just not in the game of pool.

How good is Corey at golf? If he put all of his time in it, could he go on the PGA tour?
I think Corey would swim through a river of shit to play RYO 9 ball everyday. No matter who was waiting on the other side.
I also think that line wouldn't be too long.
You've got as powerful of a stroke as I've seen. What's your high run?
