Mind if I ask a question? What was the full length jump cue that Corey was using here a few years back? What brand? What weight? I am curious about it big time!

Hey Shorty PM me your # and I'll have him talk to you.

OK, here goes:

Corey, I have a few questions for you about your favorite specifications on your playing cue:
1. Tip type and diameter size?
2. Curved tip (dime or nickel) or flat?
2. Precisely what type of taper do you like on your playing cue?

Thanks Al!

Woodpecker cues are made by Jacoby.
I did not have any idea where they came from. If I would have had to guess, I would have guessed they were cotracted to a Taiwanese factory. I think they should put the affiliation to Jacoby on the website, to keep people from jumping to such a conclusion.

This should be under For Sale forum for better visibility ... and photos and specs would help. Also how you'd take payment, PayPal or ???

I was under the impression they gave him the cue. Shouldn't he just give it back if he doesn't plan on using it?

Woodpecker must have been real upset with him for using the Xbreaker. Sponsors are hard to come by in this sport so you don't want to rattle them.

Isnt the X breaker one of those phonlic (sp?) type break cues so you can hit em hard? Does this strike anyone else as funny since the tour had to come up with a rule about the way corey breaks the balls easy LOL.

What's their new rule about breaking?

I believe its at least 2 balls must pass the center of the table. Please correct me if im wrong. Might be 3 balls.

I thought it was 3 balls, but I cant say for sure. I remember hearing that after one of his breaks they called the foul on him for not getting enough balls up table, and this was a break that he MADE a ball! How can you make a rule that even if you make a ball it could still be a bad break?

I think this is a good idea...why does he need a break cue to begin with, unless it was a sledgehammer fitted with a woman's powder puff on the end for a tip.

Hey...there's an idea to go along with the Woodpecker cue line...the Powder Puff Break Cue Line by Corey. You can still slam away at it like a REAL man, but get the powder puff soft break at the same time.

This rule is only being created because Corey perfected a technique that allows him to break and run, and other players can't copy it, as they have tried and failed. Even if he makes a ball on the break, they want to call foul, and it's ridiculous. So if I play Johnny Archer, and he jumps balls better than me, I don't think he should be able to jump. How about make him play one-handed, too? What a bunch of babies.
