I Can't Wait To Read The Newspaper Article...... It Should Tear These Moron Theives Apart For Being So Stupid.......

Somebody In Bills Neck Of The Woods Needs To Keep An Eye Out For The Newspaper Coverage, And Post A Link To It.

sounds like some crazy kidnapping gone wrong scheme.

what is up with the other half of the cues?

There were probably a couple of perps involved who split things up. This was just one morons hairbrained idea of how to get something out of it. I'm sure he'll rat out his accessory.

Great news! Give credit to the police involved for an outstanding job. The rocket scientists probably have the rest right at their house. Only a matter of time till he gets the rest back, if he doesn't already have them back.

The idiot thieves called Bill and told him he could have his cues back for $10,000.00. When Bill meet them at a truck stop, the cops popped them. Bill got 1/2 of his cues back. He asked me to post this. He will update all later.

Dumb crook story, and the COPS made the BUST. Now where is the other 1/2 of what they took?

News of 1/2 of the property recovered is great news.

I hope he got back the more valuable half. But it wouldn't make a difference to Bill, as long as hes getting his stuff back. He's got such a heart gold, I wonder what he'll do to the perpetrators.

About a year or so ago...I went to get the mail and found something from Home Depot that said my bill was enclosed. Only thing is...I didn't have an account with Home Depot. Opened the envelope to find a Home Depot card enclosed, that already had an $8K balance. Needless to say this wasn't my doing. I called up Home Depot and found out the account was opened in-store, and spent to the max that day. So...I called the Plymouth Whitemarsh Police, the U.S. Post Office, and the three credit reporting agencies to have a fraud alert issued on my credit report. A month goes by and I get a call from the investigator. Here...the retard used the card to purchase hardwood flooring...and made an appointment to have it INSTALLED. *laughing* So they show up at the clowns house and say "Hey...NICE floors!". Some people.

As the police were involved and it was not only a case of burglary, but one of grand theft, I don't think Bill can do anything but prosecute. I see years of fun for the thieves.

First there must be a trail, or plea bargin. I have seen cases where thieves got so little time, or let it was a joke in a property crime. Reason was trails cost the county money.

VERY similiar to what happened to an old friend in CHITOWN a few years ago.

If the caged perp still has access to the rest of the cues they'll be coming home soon.

True, but usually not in a case of grand theft/burglary. One never knows though. If they come up with everything they stole in original shape, they could get a minimal sentence. Still, better that Bill gets his life back.

Like the movie Ruthless People when the cops referring to the kidnapper said "this guy could be the dumbest human being on the planet"

Look for this to be an episode of "America's Dumbest Criminals"

As this idiot is sitting in prison, it think I'll send him a cake with a used pocket chalker inside.

After Bill gets the balance of his cues back, whatever happens will happen, and due to the amount of money involved, they should prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
I could see Bill wanting the prosecutors to take it easy on him, but I think it could be out of his hands, except for a possible plea arrangement based on the recovery of all the cues.

I'm very happy for Bill and his family, as well as some of the AZ members that I know who took this a little rough themselves.
What a great way for everyone to start the weekend.
Bill has a lot of friends out there, and all of the good karma paid off.

WOW GREAT NEWS!! I'm not much for the God thing but now I'm thinking I may want to re-think that ;)
Hope you get the rest soon.
