about 2 weeks ive been missing my keys. and i have a 2 year old so i thought they became a toy!!lol. I havnt slept since wed and tonight will be a great night of rest. there will be alot of new cues comming from the cue collector show. to show you guys. we may have been knocked down.but we are still in the fight! Praise God

It's not Bill's decision; it's the Prosecutor's call, and my guess is that the case will be prosecuted. We are talking about a first class felony. It appears that the bad guy was caught red-handed, so you can bet that the Prosecutor will push for a conviction. They love cases where the Defendant is nabbed in the act. My guess is that the one perp in custody pleads gulity and throws himself on the mercy of the Court. Bill, you need to be present so that the Court does not give this clown a slap on the wrist and a couple of weeks in the slammer. No less than 5-7 years in the can is the right punishment for stealing well in excess of $250,000.00 of cues.

The Michigan State Police don't play, believe me :eek:

True our Michigan prisons are over crowded and maybe in Detroit they don't prosecute non violent crimes as much as they should.

But when the State Police are involved in a case, they will follow through and prosecute ANY CASE they are involved in to the fullest extent of the law. :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

I've worked with some of their Detectives and Troopers in the past and I will testify to their tenacity, they are PIT BULLS !!!!!

Bill did a great job today...................He's my Hero right now.

It wasn't easy what he did, but he did it.

No...it wasn't anyone from here. I received a call from Bill this morning right after the sting went down. He could hardly contain himself. It was someone who had done some work for him. The idiot helped load the cues back into Bill's vehicle and then the cops came and he tried to run and the cops let the dogs out...and then they tazered him..."Who let the dogs out?" The Police...that's who...

The other thing is...if the prosecutors wanted to, they could charge the criminals with 70 some-odd counts of theft for every cue that was stolen.
I say fry 'em...

One of my friends has an ex-husband problem. He liked to come over and hang out while she wasn't home. Of course he never did any housework or yard work he just liked to use his key.

So she installed a new lock that uses a code to get in. IF she gives the code to a painter or someone like that then she changes it after they are done.

Works great - no ex-husband loafing in the house and no break-ins.

So glad to hear you recovered the cues. Hopefully the other ones will surface soon.

Thank God for stupid thieves. It's always the exchange in a hostage situation that it tricky isn't it?

Everything I see is the ppl here helping others out when possible. This is the BEST Forum out there PERIOD. :)

He did not loos 2 cues but cues worth more than 250000 dollors and has recovered 1/2 of them:thumbup:

Wow! I am glad you got half of your cues returned, I hope that you find the rest. I ran into port huron Bill about two weeks ago and he mentioned that he knew you. He said how nice you were and how you had given him a bunch of tile work on your home.

I am glad he got caught, it just amazes me that he thought he could get away with selling you back the cues when you knew him quite well. Maybe deep down he wanted to get caught

we were also watching this from Germany and we are all glad that there is a happy end to this now. Hope everything works your way.
And good job from the police.

Personalyy i was positively amazed about the big support here from the community and also from the outside the USA. Thats when the poeple say that if you are good the good things come to you always back.

I don't know you Bill but that is an amazing story and I hope you get your cues back. It sounds to me like you put your faith in the right place and believed in the right person, God takes care of us if we just let him. I am sure that he will give the thief exactly what he needs too if not here on earth... *shrugs* :)

Wow!!! Good news. Did they see that trap? NOOO! Some people will always amaze me with stupidity. I imagine it will be only time before the others are found.

I'm glad to hear THIS clown got taken down. Extortion and third strike in Michigan are life felonies.

They took over a QUARTER MILLION in cues???? Jesus H. Christ. You bettter have things with Lloyds of London on your agenda, stat. That, or serious consideration for having a vault installed in your house.
