Someone is selling 2 150 yard spools of 12lb test vacuum packed monofiliment. He states it should do 5 cues. I have never heard of mono being used for wraps. I could be wrong but it just smells fishy to me. Any thoughts?

That's not the stuff used for wraps. Wraps were green spec Irish linen (primarily). Dacron green spec was also fairly common.

Thats what I thought. This guy is trying to prey on someones lack of knowledge. He is trying to "hook a sucker".
