Could a B player run 100 balls on the world record table?

Somebody has to define B player. I think a B player could run 100. Not on the first attempt but eventually. Maybe my vision of what a B player is differs from others.

Big difference between a B player at 9B vs a B player at 14.1. Hell, a lot of A players at 9B may never run a 100 playing 14.1 simply because they don't understand the pattern play. Most of the better 9B players I've ran into in the pool rooms I couldn't beat playing 9B, but I robbed all of them talking them into playing 14.1 because I had the cash in my pocket they wanted, so they were all willing to play MY game in order to make some money off me.

Thats the thing about gamblers, they'll try and get you to play them at their strongest game first, but they'll play your game as well if they know you have money, and refuse to play their game, they WILL play 14.1 just to try and win some money because they hate to see you walk out the door with that money in your pocket😉 even if they don't understand the game😅

I agree. The question is too vague. B players isn't specific enough.

Let’s forget about the B letter. I think most people are envisioning a FargoRate of 550 to 600 or so. Maybe a bit higher.
I don't care if a player has a Fargo rate of 700, if they earned that rate playing 9B they still don't know shit about 14.1 and the pattern playing knowledge it takes to string racks together.

I have to say I think yes... Lol. This world record stuff is a joke with concocted conditions. Its like lets try to set the record for the lowest round in golf by making the easiest golf course ever....
Never happen. I say a B player will never run 100 balls.

More objectively, any player that has a previous high run of at least 56 balls (4 racks) on a Diamond table with tour cut pockets, with enough opportunities, might have a shot at running 100 on that table, in my opinion.

Sure a B Player could start out trying to run a 100 balls. And eventually he well might but along the way,
that B player improved and became a sandbagging A player. Why? Cuz ain’t no B player gonna run 100.

Bullshit, I've lost to players gambling playing 9B then turned around and played them 8B and robbed the very same players! I've seen the difference in the 2 games played way to many times to be fooled into thinking they're played the same.
8B is my stronger game between 8B & 9B. For a while when I was in my early 20’s 9B was my best game.

Anyways I was in vegas in around 2010 at Best Billiards. This guy I had seen around in there wanted to play some cheap sets. We were kinda friends, sure why not. Race to 11 for $50.

What game shall we play, I knew it wasn’t gonna be easy but I wasn’t drawing dead. So I said 9B to start in case things didn’t work out. We agreed to 1 set of each.

I lost the 9 ball set 11-8ish. I didn’t play very good at all, had I played 85% my speed I’d have won that set.

8 Bal time, ok Fatboy get even and go. Sure……I lost 11-3. I got my nuts shot right off. I could have played my best ever and 11-5 would have been the score. (Take what you make on the break).

I paid off, he paid the time. Old school social pool. I asked about his 8B game. He said “that’s all my dad would play when I was growing up” he was 35ish. He flat robbed me, out moved me, firepower that day a hair stronger but point is he was a super strong 8B player and ok 9B player. Don’t see that often.

I’m a F player at 14.1
