i am not talking about people waiting on a cue order but those that i have so called stole from or raised the quoted price when the order was complete.

please post proof of so called accusations.

John called and we had a 10 minute or so chat. He apologized for his excessive delay in finishing the project, and explained what has been going on in his life. I wish that he had made that call before my thread went viral last Monday. He does not disagree with any of the facts contained in my thread, and harbors no ill will toward me for having posted it. John told me that he has about 8-10 hours left before the project is completed, and feels compelled to finish the project. While I want my cue back tomorrow, I've decided not to escalate the matter further with legal action and give John some additional time to complete the project. I'm hoping that I get the cue back with the project completed in the next week or two. I will keep you all posted as events unfold.

Once again ducking the problem. Return the damn cue and the money you accepted. The cue is NOT your property. You ARE a theif. You DO need mental help.

That's not the question because Quality Cues has rescinded permission for Showman to do any work on the cue and has even expressly forbid him to do any work on it now. He is simply demanding immediate return of the cue. The question is why won't he return the cue immediately as demanded.

I am sorry but "UNILATERALLY" changing the verbal contract is 100% illegal!!! Quality Cues and Mike never agreed to your modifications to the due date. Original due date is/was 11/26/14 and once you retain possession beyond what the owner Mike agreed to constitutes theft in my opinion. You are technically in possession of his property fraudulently because you "Contractually" agreed to return his property on 11/26/14 failing to return the item and breaching the contract you entered into deprives the owner of its use and utility and allows "YOU" access to its use and utility. Use and utility is a primary principle of ownership and via your actions you have converted the cues use and utility from the owner to yourself!

Or send some shafts to reimburse him if Mike desired.

Those can be sold quickly, 4 shafts would fetch a grand and would remunerate Mike for the hassle incurred in liquidating them.

I wouldn't get into a payment plan at this point.

People can claim that I'm a fool for having hope after this many months, but I truly believe that John was sincere about what he told me today. All will be forgiven on my end if he does his usual stellar work on the refinish/rewrap and the making of the third shaft and joint protector.

kindness and honesty count! I tip my hat to all involved for talking to one another. Pride can keep someone from telling folks what is going on. But, some times its better than omitting the details and leaving customers in the dark about your situation.

I am certain Mike will keep what John told him private. Despite all he has been through he could still find it in his heart to extend the deadline and buy John a little more time.

Sadly, Mike got the run around for a year because of pride! I think that 15 minute call has righted the ship. Ducking phone calls and emails is never a good thing. People , especially the ones in the pool community are very kind hearted. But, no one wants to be a door mat.

They didn't work anything out to get it settled. They worked something out so the guy who lied gets to feel no repercussions for his actions.

Guy says he has 8-10hrs left on the cue? That means that it can be done today, right?

Or did he mean that he has 8hrs of work and six months of waiting?

I expect this cue won't be returned until the calendar reads 2016.

I know he is your friend, but that is exactly why you shouldn't publicly support him when he is clearly wrong.
