The list is growing Fast! This looks likes it's gonna be a tough tourney
I got a question about the players meeting/auction......Are these 100% payback? I didnt see this on the flier anywhere, and I know are area has lost alot of bidders from auctions not being paid back 100%....This should be known to bidders?
Can you let us know this Ray
I apid my entry to Jr. over the weekend....And I think Yoko Joee did to...
Why would anyone run an auction for $000. That is foolish! 10% has been the standard for 1000 years!Everyone that works my events gets paid for their efforts. All involved in running this event will earn their keep by providing a great event that will be enjoyable by ALL. We use no volunteers.
Auctions are not allowed in Texas.
I hope that answers your question. If not. Call me anytime.

i have never heard bidders complain about the 10%, what they do take exception to is the 30% or more taken from entries!

That's Sooooo true. I know of many tournaments doing that Lewis.
Another situation that is fraught with perile is when the people running the tournaments start buying up the field in auctions. This practice will end bad, sooner or later, for someone.
See you there.

What's the difference in the people running the tournament buying up the field or another different consortium buying up the field?
