I'm noticed a common problem with AZ'ers. It starts with "Don't tell my wife". Cueballdg and I had a great laught about this subject last night. And it started with "Don't tell my wife". Cueballdg (Dan) is a good husband and his wife knows about the cue, she just doesn't need to know all the details.
Sorry Dan in advance if she reads this.

I shared a few stories with Dan about other AZ'ers having the same problem so he didn't feel alone.
This is a good one:
A couple weeks ago I sent out a cue thinking the new owner would be excited I got it out ASAP. The responce was "Oh no" What he needed was me to send out the cue so it would show up on the rite day so his wife wouldn't see it.
After laughing for some time we started talking about the avatar pictures. Wondering how many guys would be in trouble if their wifes knew
they had a half naked chick as their screen face.
Are we alone?
Share your story for us to laugh at.

When I was going through my divorce, I sold a Bushka for $25K. My wife didn't even know I had it. I asked my lawyer how to hide it from her.

He told me to make the check out to the bank. The bank was more than happy to hold the funds for me.

When the divorce was final, I walked straight from the courthouse to my bank. I then transferred the funds into my account.

That took the sting off an otherwise bad day.

Scott:

I have had many cues sent to my office. :D

On Days I have league, I leave downtown on an earlier train so I am able to smuggle them into the basement. I keep a case downtown that I have smuggled down in my briefcase.

Her brother was working on my furnace and went over and looked in a case with about 12 cues and said something to her about how many cues does he have.

Oops!!! What luck.

Your not alone. When I started this thread I thought it would be fun. I think people are nervous to tell their story.

I like selling cues fast and sometimes sell them for less then Wendy likes. I sold a cue to a local guy telling him not to mention the price to her. We were out playing and talking cues and a friend starts talking about a cue he saw. Not thinking I asked what cue and he answers with "that cue you sold Mark for $???.??".
Oops!

The doorbell rings...it's the FED X driver delivering a triangular shaped (cue) shipping container. Oooh oooh oooh I can hardly wait to hit some balls with this one!

My wife asks: "did you order something honey?" :o

I reply in a voice trying not to sound too excited: "yes dear, they finally delivered the replacement part for the vacuum cleaner"

Wife goes running from the room (cuz she doesn't want to have anything to do with a vacuum cleaner)!

Final scene: Me with a huge smile on my face as I remove the bubble wrap from my newest cue obsession!

Now come on guys, I know I'm not the only one to use "the vacuum cleaner part arrived" trick!
