My only parting comment.
I don't care how much exposure Shanelle is getting for her sponsors, she still totally sucks at pool, BUT at least you didn't say she was good.

Just read the 1st post VERRRRY SLOWWWWLY and you will discover a domain name in there. One would assume that if you slap that domain name in your Browser, it will take you to said domain. Once arriving at said domain, one would assume there is a link to the actual interview, or it may even be on the main page.
I am ready to do the above and will let you know if it isn't readily accessible.
Interesting Interview
This is a very good interview as Cristina makes a lot of good points about exposure, sponsors, Wpba and the pool industry.
I like her honesty when answering the questions and the fact that she doesn't have a chip over her shoulder, and not to mention she is a math geek!!!

Thanks for the link...Cristina is obviously a bright and articulate young lady. The pool community is fortunate to have her aboard. At least for now. By that, I mean there are other windows of opportunity out there for her, and she has the brains to explore them.

it was a good interview and everything seemed to be answered well. this is probably only showing how not "in the know" i am but who is chris de la garza and what sparked this interview?

I hate to be negative, but in this case I have to be. In order to be on the
cover of a magazine or get interviewed I think you have to accomplish
little bit more than what they did(Kristina,Borana,etc.) It's sounds very
nice that they have dreams and goals, but guess what, so do many
millions of other poolplayers but you don't see their interview or picture
on the front of any magazine. Why is that? Maybe because they are not
pretty and don't have a nice ass. This is just my oppinion and I know that
some of you may disagree, that's OK. To make a long story short, I think
you should achieve a little more in order to be interviewed or to be on the
front page of anything.

You cannot be serious, why be negative about this. Jim has a right to do an interview with whomever he choses, all the people are worthy and are all very involved in the pool scene. Cristina is a well known face because of her interviews with pool players, it would be like an interview with say Michaela Tabb or something along those lines in my opinion.
Nothing wrong with a young lady who is attractive and doing things in pool whether it is on the table or off of it. I do my little things behind the scenes and cannot wait for my interview, plus I am good looking and have a great a$$. :grin:
P.S. If Samm Diep is ever at Kolby's she can do a "What's in the case?" segment with me. :wink:

All I have to say is that Cristina HAS accomplished a lot in pool, otherwise Jim would never have heard of her, oh yea and she is Gorgeous !

Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against neither one of them, but the truth
remains the same. They did not accomplish enough. But if this is not a qualification
then JM should be busy man cause there is a long line of people to be interviewed.

So in your opinion, the video interviews that are done, should only be done with top tier professionals?
Why is that so?
What difference does it make who the person who owns the website interviews? It's theirs to do with as they please.
If they want to interview a Hall of fame pool player, or the local hot dog stand guy who happens to like pool, who are you to say that they can't?
If you don't like it, why don't you go start your own video interview website and show us how it's done.
I don't know where you've been hiding, but unless it's been under a rock, this girl has had the microphone in hand interviewing players at many of the big events.
Add to that, she is a pool enthusiast.
Why is it so wrong to interview her and ask her a few questions?
Is it so wrong to do articles or interviews with every day people who happen to like the game?
Everyone has a story to tell.
It's interviews like these that give some insight into who people are.
Personally, i like watching interviews regardless of who it might be.
It could be the local hack, it could be the local pro, but to me, regardless of who is being interviewed, it helps to give a glimpse into who someone is, which helps to understand them better.
People get upset at such trivial things.
Jealousy and envy are such interesting emotions.

I agree, she accomplished a lot, but not enough. There are many more players who has done much more. I will agree that she is gorgeous and so are you, but that alone is not
enough.
P.S. I hope you prove yourself in the future to be worthy of being on the front of a
magazine. Good luck.

Ironically, you are the one who complained that positive threads don't get enough attention and yet here you are being extremely rude and negative.
This is not heading anywhere, I expressed my opinion and that's all. Some will agree and
some will not. Unfortunately, you can not be positive all the time, at least in this world.
P.S. I'm not drinking, I wish I was.
he's right........ it seems like she's getting this attention because she's easy on the eyes
