Pretty much. OP should just enjoy his sentence in 'CSI Prison', there's plenty of places/ways to play without them.Sorry to say they can do what they want
sure....totally agree. but I can choose to tell people about it also.Sorry to say they can do what they want
ehhh...I quit league a long time ago....really just play tournaments and gamble a bit. It's only prison if you choose to sit in it. This is more about the principle of the thing. It was over a late registration fee that I didn't feel I should have to pay because their system had an issue, that they later fixed for me....but by then it was after the registration deadline. And I'm just sick of these big companies scraping all the money from these players. Everyone has forgotten what a good paying tournament looks like. And that we used to have them locally every week!!Pretty much. OP should just enjoy his sentence in 'CSI Prison', there's plenty of places/ways to play without them.
It's the Michigan BCA State Championships...and apparently I have to be the Sheriff!!You'll have that is a small town with no Sheriff?
I actually appreciate that. Yeah...definitely know I'm lighting that bridge on fire....lol....but honestly....it wasn't about the late fee or the money. Just the 'f-you' attitude they have to the players.I think so many of us are so used to poor customer service everywhere we turn, that our lines in the sand are hard to see anymore. You are sort of screwing yourself out of playing, but refusing to pay the late fee is admirable to a certain extent.
Yeah, I don't disagree. I thought bringing the Predator tour to our state CSI tourney a few years back was pretty good....and everyone wants to see an injection of money/TV/exposure into pool.....and I definitely tried to give them a chance. it all started from actually trying to support a shitty payout tournament and give them registration money......I haven't played a league match in over 20yrs. Some of the stuff the OP dealt with is why. It can get so nitty and chicken shit its ridiculous. I think CSI has done a lot of good for pool in general but treating people like this is bad. Has the OP talked to CSI hq about how a state CSI franchise treated him? He doesn't say if all contact was with the Mich. CSI
Yep. Don't fk with the man is what they're saying. OP did go a 'tad' nuclear but it looks to me like it was warranted."Member Compliance"
That wording alone is telling.
But we really don't know the details of the problem or the look into it.Yep. Don't fk with the man is what they're saying. OP did go a 'tad' nuclear but it looks to me like it was warranted.
DM me your email address and I'll forward you the email chain. Nothing to hide here. But we really don't know the details of the problem or the look into it.
Not necessary and offer appreciated.DM me your email address and I'll forward you the email chain. Nothing to hide here.
I think when MarkG. turned it over to whoever runs it now was the beginning of the slide. I know folks in the Okla. area that aren't real fond of CSI either. They say its better than TAP/APA but i have to just take their word on that. Not necessary and offer appreciated.
What is right/ wrong in these situations is usually determined by Terms of Use or User Agreements and those things are always favorable to their authors
Absent that, the business can do whatever it wants, right up to Court.
And absent any of the above, csi isn't renowned for its friendly attributes.
He's not trying to make a legal issue out of this, at least as far as I can tell. He can speak for himsel, but I'm guessing he understands this isn't worth pursuing legally. Not necessary and offer appreciated.
