Cue case with feets?

Hei.
I dont post this in the WTB/Sell section, cause I am unsure if i really want one.

Ok, I really dont know if its called feets, but I am looking for a cue case like the one Roberto Gomez had in WPC final. He just sat the case on the table with som kind of support from som "feets", then he could just place his cues in it while playing, and did not have to worry about the cues falling down on the floor.

It dont have to be just like Gomez's case, but something with "feets".

I've seen someone who made one using the stand from an old golf bag....the kind where you set it down and the legs automatically spring out.

I was wondering if a PING hoofer style stand would work...doesn't seem like it'd be a very hard design, and I've seen cases that already look very golfbaggish...

Good point, it's one thing for Gomez to use one in a pro tournament where he's inside the ropes and separated from the spectators. In a pool hall, the guy walking back to his table focused on not spilling his beer is liable to knock right into your case and both it and your cues will go flying.

I've seen ones that kinda looked like golfbag legs. Interesting concept, but not practical in a small pool room.

This is why I don't make them.

The "footprint" is too big on all such cases. I can bring these cases in and distribute them all day but I refuse to because they are just cumbersome.

I gotta draw the line somewhere on what I will or won't do :-)

The best line I have ever heard in this regard is when someone said on this forum "my cue case stand is a $150,000 building wall."
 
These rubber thingies work great - lightweight in your case, holds the cue pretty firmly and won't scratch it.
