Looking for a little feedback on what everyone thinks of the two of these and which one to choose. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on buying something but I honestly don't know very much about them. Whats more bang for the buck, easy to learn, durability and holds value??? Any info/feedback/suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks

Both are good lathes, but I'd have to lean towards the cuesmith. Its really personal preference, but whenever someone asks for help with their lathe, even ones Chis didn't build or sell, he is one of the first to offer advice and help. I've heard Unique is good to deal with also, but I know from experience how helpful Chris can be. Good luck.

I own both. If you compare prices when tricking each out with the same options, they're probably pretty close.
I found them both easy to learn and if you take care of them, they are durable.
Both hold value well enough. Resale just depends on the overall market. Buying one used would hold the most resale value.

There have been a number of threads about "which lathe" before.
