there? Are any AZbr's buying or dealing for cues?
Somebody give us a rundown on the equipment there.
ragbug74 said:There are a few high-end dealers....The Connoisseur Of Cues comes to mind, as well as a few others. Jacoby, Viking, Southeast, Mike Gulyassy, Brianna Products, Jerry Olivier, Shurtz Cues...that's all I can remember (lack of sleep).
Just a note about the Shurtz Cues booth. I stopped and talked with Bob Owen for a good 45-minutes about his cues and cues in general. A very nice guy who makes a very nice cue for a very affordable price. If you're down there this week, give his cues a look. Where else can you get a 4 inlay point cored cue for $300.00? They worked for Gabe up until he got his McDermott sponsorship deal. Bob's got one U.S. Open to his cues' credit.

Ratchet said:That one of Indiana's finest , The current reigning 2 time Nascar Nextel Cup champion Mr. Tony (don't make me have to use my chrome horn) Stewart dropped into the Cornerstone booth and then dropped the cool sum of 50 GRAND (thats $50,000 smackers) to purchase a handfull of some mighty fine cues ! I dont know any more about this transaction but Mr. Stewart and his entourage retired to the pool table in the room next to ours for a pit stop so he could actually play with them with out a hunderd or so onlookers .... I have his autograph and also had his ear for a few moments and was enthralled to hear him just talk about his love for the game with never a mention about his
profession ....all I can say about Tony is that Heee's Grrrrrrreattt !
with my apologies to both of those famous tigers![]()
Ratchet - If any one knows which cues he bought I would be interested
to hear the details about them and why they were that expensive ???
Snapshot9 said:I hope he bought a couple of dealer cases too or that is gonna get
real heavy. Man, instant cue collector ... lol
