Cue Extender

So is Hager back in the Extension BIZ?

Not that I know of. I think John would have contacted me if he were to get back into production. I spent quite a few bucks with John.

A few Hager extensions that I have here were found in a box. We are moving to a new location. So quite a few neat things were found, billiards samples from people who never follow through with their innovations.

I bought an Omega at DCC last year. It works great and fits in my Predator soft case without any goofy add/strap ons.

Thanks for a great product.

Glad you like it.

The Omega and the Hager extenders are the same. They are both custom-made by John Hager.

I was looking at the various extenders and just bought the cheaper Cue Reach, I think it was $16. It's basically a glorified vacuum extension piece (like Jay Helfert recommended once), and I can't really draw the ball much with it because of the hollowness and probably extended length making an accurate tip placement tough as well. Since I shoot decently enough opposite handed, for the few times here and there I need it it works great, slips on quickly and useful for normal shots requiring a stop shot or normal roll. Played a 3 rail shape shot with it last week with no issues, felt more comfortable than doing the same with the bridge.

Wouldn't mind investing in a more robust extension, but having not seen how well the others fit or experiencing how they felt I figured this cheap alternative would work for now.

I bought the Tony Ryan thinking it was an upgrade, but I prefer the cheaper cue reach. The Ryan has a few inches of a fatter area around the butt, right where I want to grip it. The cue reach makes the butt only a little bigger anywhere you grab it, so to me its more comfortable.

the CueReach is good enough for John Schmidt, so i figured it would be good enough for me, and bought one at Valley Forge.

love it, it's cheap, no parts to break, and has saved numerous shots each night i play.

I have the cue reach tube...Its aite, its does work but IMO based the hager seams tighter. The cue reach may scratch a stick with no wrap. I sanded all rough plastic edges on the mold in hopes to avoid it.
