Well, I don't think you can call six cues a collection, but I am really proud to have them all. From top to bottom:

2003 Rick Chudy
Joel Hercek
2005 Ned Morris (New)
Early 1990's Black Boar
Mike Capone
2004 Black Boar

Thanks for the indulgence, I appreciate this forum-

Mark-

It hits very well, flat faced phenolic joint, ivory ferrule, moori MH tip. It is a stiff hitting cue.

Thanks-

I actually own 2 Tibbitts cues, but one is not finished yet. My old one is being refinished by Danny right now, but should be done in another week or two. Once the second one is finished, I was gonna take some pics of the whole stable and post them.

yo

is the newest BB for sale?

Chris-

I paid $3000 for it last year, the entry level model. There is one nearly like it on:

http://www.ilovecues.com/5th_ave/blackboar/cues/02.html

It is selling for an unbelievable 840000 yen which is $7500!!

I called Tony to ask him to build me another cue and he told me that all of his production for the next ten years is going to Lucky in Japan. Not sure what it would be worth in the states.

You can pick up older ones on the internet for between $1500-$2000. There is an older plain one at susiecuebilliards for $1850.

Hope this helps,

Cool-

If you like a stiff hit with very little deflection they are fantastic!! he has a special taper core that distributes the glue evenly and he is a fanatic about balance. his cues are Great!!! :D

nice collection of cues mr djkeys! :)
geraldg can you put a good word in for us azer's with mr tibbitts?

jeff

:) I'd be happy to, Jeff. It won't do any good, though. We were talking about that very thing day before yesterday at his shop. It's going to probably be at least 3 years before he even thinks about taking new orders...and then he might still not take "custom orders" any more. He's really sort of thinking about building a cue or two here and there of his own design (sort of "spec" cues) and then putting them up for sale.

Nice collection David. Funny your collection keeps getting bigger, mine keeps getting smaller. Bring that older BB down to Crown, maybe I'll take it off your hands. Or better yet let me use it when I sub for you at league. :D

Hey, Mike. You have fewer cues, but I'll bet you beat me in dollars invested. I won't have a chance to get the cue to you for next week as I will be going on vacation tomorrow for a week.

I will be in Crown on the following Tuesday, come on down then and I will let you take the cue for a couple days if you like-
