Cue Id help please

I got a buddy that just got a 25 y/o cue back 10 yrs after a divorce and want's to id what this is and if it is worth anything. Anyone in the know would be appreciated.

Looks like an old National cue...not worth much at all, iirc.

If that is a National cue. Looks pretty nice from the pictures even if it has no collector value.

It's a National alright but the Taiwan import version, looks like 1970's. They also made some semi-customs in the late 1960's, early 1970's with some great cue makers, but shut down and outsourced to Taiwan.

Taiwan National.

Could be a decent shooter, starter cue type, or low end collectible for some.

The name has a lot of history behind it, the early ones are pretty cool.

Looks to be in nice shape from the limited view.
