Cue ID... How good are you?

I'm not sure who made it maybe Petree? But I think he's too new.

Jim
Good guess, but not JW. They know each other though.

The cue was made by Jim Ingram of OKC. It has a very unique hit due to the ferrule attachment method he uses. I love the "old school" combination of the Burton Spain forearm, big ivory and silver Bushka ring, ivory windows and MOP diamonds.

Here is another view of the butt sleeve. Thanks for playing.

Great quiz, Scott! Beautiful cue, and I bet it hits a ton and a half. As for the other cue in your case, I'm guessing....lets see now...Tim Scruggs?

Man, you ARE good! lol

It's a Guffey

It's a John Guffey cue. I had a four point with red stain, idenitical to this one. Look John up in the blue book and you'll find all the information you need in his brief bio. The four point that I owned had Burtain Spain points also. One of the best playing cues that I have owned.

If you have a micrometer, what is the mm length of the fancy veneer ring work in the butt sleeve and how long is the pin? I have read that all John Guffy cues are 3/8x10 joints. Just curious.
