cue identification

I have only seen that joint pin used on 1 cue, and it was an import chinese cue sold by J&J America, along with the ring work and design.

In my opinion the cue is an import cue, I could be wrong but I do not think so, sorry.

Take Care

i do know its not a j and j i have seen lots of those and never seen one like this cue to be quite honest i cant recall seeing many with points let alone 6 points....and as far as the joint and rings i have seen the joint on a few other cues and the rings on LOTS of other cues...i also know what j&j's logo looks like and they always have them on them...i appreciate your opinion but with all respect i am almost positive you are wrong, i have seen some cues from a company called kc custom cues that have the same pin and rings in fact ive owned 2 but this like ive said doesnt have the brand logo

and on one more note ive been offered 500+ several times for this cue by several people who all know cues very well...more than i do

if you have any doubts here is their website and not on a single one of their cues did i see the design, ring work, or the pin...sorry to beat a dead horse i just want to make my point to anybody else who may look at the thread www.jjcue.com

I have seen many J&J America cues without a logo, that is not uncommon because even in China companys are knock off the designs of others and selling through ebay and other locations. It is funny that you mention KC Custom cues as having the same style pin, because they are also imported from China and exclusively sold on ebay and made by famous cue makers that are never named.:D

I am not trying to bust on you here, you asked for information and I have given you the information I beleive to be true. I deal in cues that are imports, along with American made customs, I own a pool room, retail store, and I build custom cues. I am not just talking to here myself speak like many do, I really do have a little knowledge on this subject. I am also a currently a dealer for J&J Americas products, and I was a dealer for their products when they were using that style joint which they currently are not using at this time.

ok so since your so set this is a j&j send me a link that shows my cue on there...because i have been researching it since you said it and i havent found a single one with the design, pin or the rings...on another note just about 30 to 45 minutes ago i actually found the name of the guy who makes and sells kc cues his name is jim shao out of california and as a matter of fact thank you for mentioning that because i just went and googled kc custom cues if you look at kc #7 it looks amazingly similar to mine with just barely slightly different points and inlays and it is selling for 599 and it DOESNT have the name brand soooo even if what you are saying is true on the actual kc cues site its selling for 600 so i think my asking price is plenty fair...and just so i dont get in trouble for any copywrite laws or anything im NOT claiming that this IS a kc im simply saying that it has the exact same design as a kc and points and rings

Craig (manwon) is pretty slick when it comes to cues...although, anybody can be wrong....I would bet money he is right on this..although I have no idea who made it, I would. if it were my cue...tend to believe him in this instance. He will absolutely not lie to you or fabricate anything.

on a side note...if you were offered 500.00 for that cue..I would hunt them people down and try to unload it....just my opinion of course.

Either way...good luck on finding who exactly made this cue

Oh, and I looked, it doesnt look anyhting like KC-7 to me....but thats just me..ive been known to be wrong 3x....maybe this is the 4th

I bet manwon bought this cue:p

No I didn't, but I considered it thanks for the laugh!!!:D

You try to help some people and it appears that they know more than those trying to help them, my only question is why do they ask in the first place if they have all the answers!! No matter I am glad the gentleman sold the cue, it was never my intent to hurt his sale, I just hope the new owner hasn't been mislead, because I will stand by my comments the cue is a Chinese Import No Doubt about it.

Take Care

No good deed goes unpunished Craig.

:thumbup::thumbup:

Are you sure you didn't buy that cue???? LOL

Yes I must confess the cue was actually a Choboti and it was built from Chop Sticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care

You and your friend must be twins. You have the exact same sentence structure and mannerisms in your posts. This structure can be as distinguishing as a finger print, depending on who is reading it. Just saying.
