cue identification

I found a cue in a case under an old house. There is no name on the cue but does still have a large faded label on the butt shaft. It is shaped like a ribbon with a face at the top that looks like Mosconi but it is faded and below reads, Genuine Canadian Maple Shaft, Hand rubbed selected wood, Positive locking solid brass super strength joint, Perfectly hand balanced, Preferred be professionals.

Maybe just a cheap cue but I can't stand not knowing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Photos????

Photos? It's much easier for the experts, and you'll get much more info if you send a photo with your post. Good luck!

I'm sure someone can identify that cue but pictures would definitely help. Pics of the whole cue, close ups of labels and the joint should do it.

brunswick, just polished up some, had the ribbon shaped label with willie mosconi.they had several labels on them like you are describing.you can probally find several of these on ebay under vintage cues.

Sounds like one of the imports that had Willie's name slapped on it. I'm afraid he prostituted his name almost as bad as Fats, or maybe it was his heirs that sold out as in the case of Georges family with Adams.
