Cue Identification

Good morning my friends. I came across a nice barbell cue and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it. I have confirmed with Ernie that it is not a Ginacue, other than that I have no idea who else utilized that famous barbell design.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not the best pictures, and I did not see any insignia or branding.

Something about that cue, maybe the woods, rings, buttcap, general design balance, and the circle inlays is reminiscent of a TAD. He put round inlay dots on top of his points quite a bit and used them elsewhere in the cue, similar in size and shape as these.

I agree with Hang, my first thought was Tad. Send pics to Frank to see if he can get you a certification letter.

I agree. It’s not my cue and I will have to get ahold of it again. I am looking at buying.

Depending on the price it may be worth getting without a positive ID, it looks to be from a good maker. Personally, if I had the money to sink into another cue, I'd go as high as 1,000, 1,200 for that even without a name. It looks at least as good of a build as say a Schon, and even Predator cues are going for over a grand for many models.

It's actually funny how many times people have cues they don't know who made them, which to me seems a bit odd. Even if they are a 2nd or 3rd owner, those past owners should know where they got the thing from and pass it along to the buyer.

It looks like a Viking Z-210 You might ask them for an opinion.
