Looks like the EB series to me. McD's website pictures the EBs with a metal joint, but I remember lots and lots of them with the black joint yours has. My guess is that in the shape it's in your cue is worth $70-$100.

thanks boyd, appreciate the help
if nobody an az wants it, it'll be on ebay
guess i should have posted in 4sale section

this cue isnt as bad as i thought
i dont know what was on it,i thought it was chips in the finish, but, whatever it was, it came off
i gave a quick polish with some finesse
there's some knicks and scrapes on the butt
the original bumper was dry rotted, changed that too

took cue to my local bar last nite
had two guys chomping at the bit to get it
one hesitated for a minute and the other one scrambled to get another $50, he had $75 on him at the time, handed me $125 :D
the hesitater cussed himself for letting it get away from him
one nice thing came out of this deal, the hesitater now wants one of MY cues, supposed to come to my shop today and decide what he wants me to build him

if its older they used to sell those as break cues in the 80's. usually weighed about high 19-21 oz. Think they sold new in the 80's for around 150, if my memory is right.

They still sell a cue just like that as well.

It has a poor piece of wood for a shaft. What's it got 4 grouth rings? I'd say it's worth $50 bucks...JER
dont tell the guy that paid $125 that, LOL
maybe thats why shaft warped????????
he likes it, considering he had one of those grahite sticks with a metal ferrule and screw on tip
