I'm looking for cue makers that have a fancy ring like seen on Mr. Prewitts cues. And would like to see some pics . Thanks Darrell

Sugartree has his micro-rings, Black Boar has inlaid "rings", some can do chain-links (JMW for example), Gina does silver-ivory "bushka-ish" rings, JW has inlaid rings as well, Bill Schick often uses double or triple brass rings, Tad has maple blocks, Haley does dash-dot-dash patterns in silver, Barry Szamboti uses lazy Z along with many others, Cognoscenti does silver bar rings... and after lots of search you can find a few really rare ones with Sharpie rings as well.

I will try and find pictures and upload them, it's just that my PC is slow :( Still, you can look into those by visiting their websites or pages such as thisisamesmister.com and others that have many cue pictures.

I hope I could help, I know for sure I have missed many-many out.

Those paua shell dot ringsets are Prewitt's trademark, so to speak. I've seen a similar ringset on an very fancy Kikel and on a Prewitt tribute cue made by Jerry R. Quite labor intensive to make the ringsets, index and install them on a cue. At least half the paua dots get rejected because they don't have the required figure and or color. It looks a lot easier to do than it is. Ed has said if someone wants to copy him, have at it!
