Who are the cue makers that have stopped making cues in the last five years? Some have retired and some have passed away RIP. Which ones do you think are/will become collectible due to playability?

I will start with MasonH, Tim Scruggs, Kevin Varney and Sugartree.

I think Lee Peppers may have thrown in the towel. I always wanted a new cue from Lee and I may have missed the boat.

Bill Stroud = retired
Paul Mottey = retired
Eric Crisp = retired, but young. May come back at some point
Art Cantando = passed away
Mike Cochran = passed away
Tim Scruggs = retired
Abe Rich = passed away
Mike Erwin = passed away

Not all of these guys will see any spike in value to their cues. But several have already.

I was wondering how come nobody has mentioned Bill McDaniel.

Crappy memory? lol

The list I posted above is far from complete. There are a few I'm sure I forgot and a few I deliberately left off, like Kevin Varney. I'm sure there are a bunch of others no one's mentioned yet.

Paul Huebler, great person and a great cuemaker for decades. Whenever close I would stop and he would give a tour of the shop and talk for hours about cue making. Still have a couple of his hustlers!
