Cue makers, What would you charge?

Here are pics of the cue in progress. As you can see, the macassar and gaboon ebony work because gaboon is the center re-cut in the points. I was not looking for quotes, I was trying to pick the minds of cue makers to try and determine if my cue maker was taking a reasonable amount of time, and if he was charging me a fair price. I think the time was reasonable but the price he is charging is unfair. I think I should pay more. The cue is now almost complete with the additional silver dots now inlayed into the ring sets. (not pictured)

Too cute by half.

Why didn't you simply make this post in the form of a question and be done
with it, if that was the information you were seeking?

If answered by PM, you wouldn't have violated the rules, but obviously
you think they don't apply to you anyway.

Dale,

Why does this bother you so much. What are you the patrol boy at school who is going to report someone to the principal or something? No one is conducting business on his thread, it is hypothetical information going back a forth. Questions asked and answered. You just missed the point!

You never answered my question, who is "we'll". That "we'll" assumes that you are in a position of authority. Are you? If you were you me thinks you would be singing a different tune.

If I were Lawyerskier, that last thing I would be doing is apologizing to you.

Lighten up my friend. Life is too short.

Looks crisp and clean, whoever is doing the work. I hope it plays good. I would imagine a wide variance in pricing depending on who was doing the work.

Nothing wrong with tipping the cuemaker after you have the cue in hand and have inspected it. I imagine he'll remember that next time around.

Sorry Dale,

I missed the point.

Thanks for the joke, I do get it now,

What would you charge for a new cue with the following:

Highly figured Macassar Ebony forearm
6 points each with 2 re-cuts
Wrapless handle highly figured curly birdseye maple
Gaboon ebony butt sleve
200 silver dots
72 ivory inlays
27 short silver lines/curves
8 silver rings
4 shafts with ivory ferrules
12" screw in birdseye extension
plain black delrin joint protectors

I am curious, if you were to built something with this level of work, how long would it take and what might you charge?

Thanks in advance

Skierlawyer- I feel that this thread is unfair to the cuemaker that is making your cue, as well as the other cuemakers that have wasted their time answering this bunch of malarkie. You had the cue ordered already and apperantly is almost done. I think it's a bit too late to price shop at this point.

not price shopping, just trying to find out how much I might want to tip my cue maker.

No problemo, a smiley face might have been aprop - but that would have
diluted the scarcasm.

Looks like Mr Spitz also felt he was manipulating the CMs who responded.

I see he is still attempting to cop a plea...
