Cue Shaft Blanks

Hello. can anyone tell me the best place to get a shaft blank? I have a custom cue that a cue maker will do the shaft to match it, but he has no way of getting the shaft blank.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Take that Q, to someone else. This guy obviously does not have enough experience, to do the job right. RUN AWAY...JER
 
Sounds kind of odd that this cue maker cant buy shaft dowels.. I would tale Jerry's advice and RUN AWAY and take it to someone that knows what they are doing.. Good luck
 
you can get shaft blanks a a bazillion places....did i spell that right? haha How much are you getting charged for this shaft that your cuemaker doesn't know where to get "his" wood? Where did the "original" come from? Sounds very fishy to me and I'm only an aspiring cue maker who has only sold ONE cue but I have tons of "blanks" and also know how to get more...heck let me know if you want your next cue...I'm ready to make it for you and I won't make you find ANY of the materials!!! good luck

Huh? 'Splain yo'self! I know you didn't mean what you wrote! There has to be another meaning to what you said, somehow. :confused:

Are you looking for a completed shaft with a special joint? Or, an extremely elusive wood? There has to be something you meant to mention in your post, that somehow didn't get through. Is it possible that your cuemaker ran out of shaft blanks that are ready to turn down the final time and in conveying that, it sounded like he didn't know where to get more?
