Cue shopping in Vegas...

Was thinkin of buyin a new cue when I go to Vegas next month for BCA and US Open 10ball/1p at the Riviera. Was wondering if yall had any suggestions on cue makers to look at? Also, will I be able to find a cue for $500? Im not too much into looks more into the feel and hit. Thanks for looking and thanks in advance for replies.
 
You'll have so many cues to choose from at the BCA, it'll make your head spin. Joe Salazar always has a nice selection with him. I'm sure there will be dozens of custom cue makers like Gulyassy and Morris who can set you up. If there was ever an excellent place to look for a cue, it's the BCA.
 
Come by the OB Cues booth. We will have plenty for you to not only look at, but test drive as well.

We are in the back corner on the left as you walk in. You should see our gold logo on the wall above our booth.

Highly recommended. OB cues are worth checking out----Nothing but good things to say about dealing with them.

You are going to enjoy your cue shopping. However don't forget you can have a true custom made for that much or a little more. The best value is low end cue made by a great cue maker. Most of those guys will let you test drive their cues and that's not always available with a custom cue. Do your homework before you go and have some cue makers in mind.
 
If Jerry Olivier is there, I suggest you check out his selection. He probably will have some in your price range.

Joe Salazar's cues will probably cost more than you want to spend, but they're fun to drool over.

Jerry and Joe usually have adjoining booths.
 
Thanks for the replies so far please keep them comin. This will be my first time at the BCA. Excited and cant wait. Already kno its gonna be fun.
 
No joke when I go to Vegas I make it a point to hit the pawn shops. I always find a nice little treasure to take home for pennies on the dollar.
 
Yea you could always take a trip to the "Pawn Stars" shop. I am sure they will gladly sell you a cue they paid dirt cheap for. $50 for my 300 year old family heirloom..... ok. What are those people thinking!! :eek:
