Any pool player who steals a cue or rips someone off by false advertising or any other means deserves to __________!!! Choose your own result. I won't say mine until I feel all other options have been exhausted. I know for every 100 respectful members here, even if they don't agree with my beliefs, there is one a-hole who will cheat or steal from us.

knowing that rip-off assholes lurk and swoop here understand that you, or anyone, can only be ripped off if you allow it to happen

what about cue maker???

Pook, you made a good point!!

what about cue maker???

Good point, I was referring to someone who would lift a cue or just outright screw someone on a sale or trade. I tend to believe most cue makers don't intend to screw their customers, they are just unable to deliver in the time frame they honestly expect to. This is why we at Wisconsin Billiard Supply have been reaching out to cue builders for a good match. Let us do the customer service outside of the design discussion. Custom cue builders can free themselves from the abundance of calls that don't have any value, let us be the gate keeper. PM me for details, my partner runs a internationally successful company and I am his right hand man. Our passion is pool and at some point when he decides to make a move we will be the "pool retailer" that you can't ignore. You can buy in now, as a customer, or wait til it happens. If you ask anyone who has dealt with us their feelings, you will understand. Still 100% and counting, will never be less. THx Tom

I'd like to add to your list.

People who buy stolen cues, and when contacted by the original owner of the cue, tell the person to basically suck it. I understand not knowing that you're buying a stolen cue, but what do you do in that situation?

I don't buy used cues sight on seen. From what I've seen here on AZB guys getting ripped off because they see a cue priced very cheap for that model and jump on it. If your greedy at all, you will get it up the a$$ sooner than later.

As far as custom cuemakers...don't even get me stared. I believe that more than half of the ones that screw you didn't set out to do that. One man shops taking too much work that gets them further and further behind each month. A one man shop that gets health issues is very hard for them to dig out of. It's like many other businesses, making the item is the easy part, managing the business is the hard part.

But if I paid for a cue, new or used and the guy just stiffed me...well I've been known to pay someone more than what's owed me to make it right. Johnnyt

Those marks on the toes of my steel toed boots, are from the teeth of a cue thief and other people that have clever ways of swindling the working man out of his hard earned money.
Suddenly becoming toothless......is the teacher.
