Can anybody tell me are there alot of cue vendors at the Derby city classic. If so who's there?

Thanks
Jeff

Yes. There are alot of cues. About as many walking around for sale as there are in the vendors display booths. If you can't find the cue you want, or somebody who knows where it is, at the Derby you were not trying hard enough.

Besides if you have never been. GO THIS YEAR!!!! It is the last year it will be the way it has been since the beginning 10 years ago. Seriously...if anyone has never been to the Derby...I would strongly urge you to go this year..it is the last chance to see what it has been like since it began...next year will be bigger but different as well...trust me..come to Louisville.

Capone, Jerry Oliver,as far as makers and there are alot of vender withall different customs and all prices .Tony Stewart a few years ago i think bought 3 ginas for 50g that was the rumor.

How is the Derby?

 Not to hijack the thread .... but, some of us guys are thinking about making the trek to this tourney next year and would love some insight on where to stay, where the action is, where to get ....some comfort >>> food plus, where the cool cues are for $ale too :D   ;) Seeya next year :)

Whats going to change

Going to be renovating the Executive West right after the Derby. No more old 70's style wood and a different layout overall. Next year is gonna be fantatstic, I don't know what I can really say about it but it will be very cool. This is just the last time that the Hotel will look like it has since the event started.

Once this one is over it will never look the same. Some say great but I like the look of the Executive West and I am glad I will be there to cap off ten great years.

Hope they remodel b4 the Derby o9.They did the rooms during the Derby 2 years ago .I know we dont sleep much there but when you decide to it better if theres not a jack hammer going full blast LOL

we will be at the derby! and will have some guest !! ErnieGutirez,Bob manzino, joe gold,Billy webb!will all be hanging out ferom time to time in our booth as far as cues we will have well over 100 cues!! and if your looking I think the derby is the second best (only to the hopkins ) to buy a cue!!

Some of the makers that were present and that I talked to were Richard Black, Mike Johnson (Jensen cues), Dennis Dieckman, Bob Owens (Shurtz cues), Jacoby, and the numerous dealers. I ended up buying a cue from Jeff Kaletta. He was sitting next to me and we were strudk up a conversation. Somehow he said that he had a Bender for sale. I looked at it and bought it.
Never now who or what you will run into.
