cue!!!!

Thanks for that last reply:)I know what specs I want:) I am playing really seriously I am pro player in my country. But in my country I can only buy mezz, predator etc. And I want a proper custom made pool cue. I already have custom made snooker cue so I know what I want. I just don't know pool cue makers. I know that the best cue makers are from U.S. and I am hoping that you guys can tell me who is the best in business.:)

There si a million threads about the best cue makers. And 2 million threads about cue makers of tomorrow.
Not everyone makes the same cues.I would not want a wood-wood joint from a cue maker who makes all the cues with SS joint.
Write here what you expect from a cue and you may get some usefull advice.
Without information this is just another useless thread.
No hard feelings

The very best have waiting lists that are anywhere up to 2 years. They also tend to be very expensive. Some of the best use "only" their proprietary joint systems so shaft replacement later could be a problem.
The names listed in the other posts are all established cuemakers with excellent cues.
My advice would be determine first what tip you already like. Second what joint "feel" you like (dampened thud of "wood to wood" or the tuning fork "twang" of metal). Third if you want a low deflection shaft. Fourth how fancy you want the cue to look. Then check the sites of cuemakers and do searches on this forum for cuemakers who interest you. You should
find plenty of Cuemakers to evaluate at the American Cuemakers Association website. Good Luck.

Jensens hit great but have bad resale value. But they hit great. There has been a lot of beautiful Blackcreeks on here lately also.

OK thanks for all responses. Now what do you think which one is better josey sneaky pete, schon or dominiak cues?

Buddy, from what I am reading here, it seems as if you have no idea of what cue to get.

I'll give you an answer: ANY CUE!

Get a Players cue for all I care--- seriously.
"It's not the arrow, it's the INDIAN."

If you are going balistic about getting a cue, go for a inexpensive Schon.

From this quote you're giving me (and sorry to be very blunt), you are acting as if you're going to throw away some good chunk of change and make a complete fool out of yourself later on in the future. I ain't sh*ttin you, HAPPENED TO ME.

Start small and work your way up--- 'nuff said.

I can only give you advice, but it is your choice whether you take it or not.

Mr Vucko... there is no "best cuemaker". There are lots of great cue makers. Some of their cues are pricey, but none of them will be a Magic Wand. I'd suggest you try out a cue, before you buy one, so you will know if it is a "good fit" for you.

You can "spec out" a cue, until you turm blue. But that doesn't guarantee you will play well with it. Maybe you can find a cuemaker, who will allow you to escrow some funds, prior to your purchase. That way you get to hit the cue, feel the cue & see it that could become a Magic Wand for you...
