I get e-mails every so often from Barringer since i made a purchase there about a year ago and recieved this email today.

"Greetings from sunny Florida! I do hope this email finds each of you at your very best. Well, we certainly stirred the pot last month with our comments about the idiot newsgroup. We received an unprecedented amount of calls and emails from all of you who share our views. We had a ton of laughs. We're glad to see that most of you do in fact share our views regarding the 'misinformation network'. I don't want to harp on it but I guess you have to take it from where it comes from. I mean, can you imagine if someone were to have 10,000 posts on there. What does that say about a person? To me it says they are a loser and failure because they have nothing better to do than make posts 10 times a day. Thank goodness no one has that many posts but someone will and achieve the loser of a lifetime award. He who has the most posts doesn't win anything. Time is better spent working and progressing along than talking to idiots who share none of our values, experience and success."

The rest of the email was some of the sales they had going on. But was wondering if he was speaking of AZ? And even if he wasn't how does he expect to conduct business and bash a large population of his potential customers simultaneously? Just figured I'd put it out here since it was a shit thing to do to send an email like that in the first place.

Read the email before that one about a month ago. He goes on like a nut case about the AZ forum. If the guy isn't a whack job he sure tries make you believe he is.

I used to check out his auctions on ebay, I did not really want to buy anything he had to offer but the way he ranted and raved on his item description was quite curious.

What better way to ruin your chances with the internet market by making ludicrous comments about their time spent... on the internet... with a letter sent... via internet.

Epic fail.

Just from reading his website rants, Barringer strikes me as a man with serious emotional problems. There's no way I would ever do business with him (I wouldn't want him to have my address - I like sleeping with both eyes closed at night).

boo urns. he has time to take an unprecedented amount of calls in order to laugh about azbilliards but doesnt have time to let his customers know if items have been sent?

To my knowledge this is the thread that first got Joe Barringer upset at the "internet people". There have been quite a few threads on AzBilliards from those that have had very bad experiences dealing with Cue Components though, so it's possible that there was something even before this one that put him on a tirade (it doesn't seem to take much with him)...

i dont think that was it cuz he quit az before that thread. when i was talking to him over emails he was already mad at az. that thread i made probably pissed him off some more but he was already mad at az to begin with.

yeah, old Joe all but cussed me out because I asked him one simple question. wrote him off as a possible supplier, immediately !

d_flash...have you seen the cues in other forums ?

im glad someone else posted this. i wanted to sooo bad i was talking to another member about this thread. i dont get his email bc i told him to take me off his list never contact me again and i will quit making cues before i buy one item from him. no wonder he hates us. we outed him for being about the worst person on the planet in every walk of life.

You know, I've never had a problem with Joe. Did I think it was a nutty email ? Sure. But I've had days like that myself, so I'm not going to judge. Easier to let it go. If you had to ignore all of the characters in the pool industry, you'd be playing golf!

Now that's FUNNY!!!
