I got a really nice shaft back in Oct 2009. Man, the smell, was gawd awful....I am assuming its Resolute(sp?)

Even to this day I can pull the shaft out of the case and it practically overwhelms me...I mean really bad chemical smell, and my eyes almost will start watering its so bad........Is this normal? Trust me, if it is...id never want a shaft that I will own to be dipped in this crap.

Thanks
Shawn

Probaby Nelsonite. This can happen if the shaft doesn't have enough time to mellow the odour. You will find if you leave it out of the case for a few weeks that it will go away but it can be pretty strong.

More than likely it is nelsonite, resolute has almost no odor. If you let it air out for a week or so it will stop smelling so strong.

Keep it sealed up, then let some fish play with it for a few hundred a set...It'll give him the wa-wa's and wont be able to see the hole lol.

Most of the time, it was something in your drink, but I guess playing doctor with someone's cue works too.
