I have a bunch of old cue butts. They are all in need of repair and needs shafts. Most have no means of identification. They came out of an old cue repair shop. I was wondering if any may have value or are they firewood? All comments welcome.

If its mine, and not too busy, i would love to repair them all, check the best condition and make some additional twist on it. always love to explore new things and they will be my subjects....btw you have more cues than me. hope all is well.

butts

most of what i see there would be low dollar resale, some are probally the 57 in. cues, which are tough sales.i would imagine that most cuemakers have a collection of these.it would'nt hurt to put these in for sale section, they might bring in some gas money at the least.heck i might even be interested if the price is right.

The 5th one from the right looks like it might be a nice full splice veneered blank. I am very curious about that one.

A couple others might be decent full splice blanks but the veneered one catches my eye.

I am curious about the 3rd one...and maybe the 8th one. Could be something....or nothing....

Most are not impressive. Probably great for somebody playing around or learning.

Hard to tell from angle and picture but the 8th from the left looks like a Palmer before it became production, mid 1960's.

Fifth one from right could be a Hoppe and furthest on right could be an old Brunswick with the butterfly splice.

Decided That I am going to sell these. They are sold as is. I'll be moving thread to for sale. Make your offer.

I think we'll need some better pics to make offers.

I am interested in a couple of them...maybe. But the difference between what they are and what they might be is huge.

I like unknown stuff and projects, so I might take a chance...but I am hoping for better pics.
