Cues rarely seen for sale

Eric Brissette

I'll toss my two cents in....................

Eric Brissette

Top notch maker, top notch playing cues. Anyone who has one never lets go of it. I have two.;)

Richard Black cues.
Considering how many cues he has made I rarely see them for sell on here, eBay has a couple that have been there for awhile.

Correct. You don't see Richard's cues for sale very often. Because of the quality, owners hang onto them. They're not often flipped.

All the best,
WW

I agree about the limited availability of Richard Black cues.
I have one....my favorite design....four point ebony with inlays on the points...linen wrap.
...a guy forgot his cue....he plays with a Predator....I told him my Black is solid wood...
...but it’s tapered to spin LD....but hit’s stronger.....he loved it...wanted to buy it...
...I told him to get in the line-up....the last guy in the line-up is outside of the city limits.

I don’t mind lending my cues....I feel they hit better if they’re used more.

Why did you buy them if you dislike them so much? I have two of his earliest cues and love both of them.

I almost bought one of Black’s Hoppe copies in the late 70s....it played great.
....but the owner changed his mind.....sometimes it’s better to bargain, I guess....
...the guy named a price....I offered him the $$ immediately...he got cold feet...:crying:

That's odd, I didnt sell mine because of the lack of quality.

Not sure when your cue was made but, unfortunately, RB's quality seems to have went down on later builds. His early and mid-career quality appeared to be pretty strong.

Probably some exceptions both ways though.

That's brutal when you want to pay full price on the spot and then they say nevermind.

You don't see many Judd Fuller cues posted
I still have 6 left

I've had 4 of them and this idiot sold them all .
Had to when I went back to school.

Judd's been gone for a few years now though.
He and Trudy did make a lot of cues .

I have a nice example of your purple heart full splice cues.
You don't see many of those either
A friend is bugging me about it.
