hey guys, i would like to see some cues with some bone, horn or mammoth ivory in a bigger extent than ferrules or so. maybe some abears?:)

thank you

I would love to see some Abears as well! I do have a couple of cues with buckhorn for ferrules/joints/hoppe ring/butt cap....one is by a local maker and one is a Zylr.

Hanshew - Buckhorn ferrule, buckhorn joint collar, ring under joint, & hoppe ring:

All stag collars.
I learned how to cut and turn em from Kerry.
IT's a lot of work. And they smell really bad.

I figured that you had seen them. As far as the Zylr....it's definitely a nice cue. I need to get it refinished though because of those finish chips on the butt cap. When I got the cue, those were already there, so I would like to make it perfect.

my recent purchase

i was lucky enough to get my hands on this excellent cue.

I have had the pleasure of having many of Jeff's cues pass through my hands, and I must say they are getting better each time.
This Cocobolo with lots of Buckhorn (Cyrus Moose to be exact) is a great looking cue.
It is a 60" cue weighing in at 20.80oz.
Cue is straight together and apart.
Cocobolo Points (very close to even) w/ Mexican Cocobolo accents and Silver rings (you can feel the rings just a little)
20" Balance Point
12.75mm SuperPro Tip
13.00mm at the ferrule and has about a 13.50mm Pro taper (room to customize).
He has starting using inserts for his joints pins (3/8 x 10), this one has Titan ferrule material on both the butt and shaft side. I believe this creates a a soft but radiant hit.
Jeff stands behind his cues 110%, If there is an issue with his work, simple, he will fix it.
I am selling this one because I have two of his SP's right now.

$300.00 delivered conus, would like to sell, but may trade for other SP's.

Mammoth ivory

Mammoth ivory joint, ferrule and buttcap. In person, the color is not as white as elephant ivory ... not yellowish but definitely have more elegant "aged" look/color about it.
