Does anyone have cues you don't use?
I own a cue I got out of hock for a friend. He never used it and has never tried to buy it back from me. It's been hit, but not played. No chalk dust in shaft, still has the weight sticker on the bottom. I understand I can't sell it as new but it's as close as it could be.
I've hit it a couple times is all over the 3 or 4 years I've had it. Before I got my main playing cue, this was the cue I wanted. Had another friend about a decade ago who had the same one. He lent his to me to try and I liked it. Hence me buying the same brand soon after.
It hits significantly different from my main player and I don't want to get my head confused by playing it and then going back to my main cue. Plus I like that it's in great condition. It's not an expensive cue. If I sold it on a great day I might get $300 for it.
Would you keep it as is or would you play it? How many of you play different cues through the week or month and still are not affected by the change?
Do any of you have cues that don't get played ever? I could understand something real expensive or a cue you don't like so much, but just an average cue?
