If someone has posted about this, please let me know and I will go to that thread.

I see Seyberts is now selling the new Cuetec CYNGERY X cue. Has anyone got one yet and tried it out?

Are any of the Cuetec sponsored pros currently playing one, and if not, do you think they will?

Yeah, even in the CueTec line those don’t do much for me. I like cuetecs pretty well, but there are several I’d get-for less money- before I got one of those. I looked at them at an online place today and started idly looking at what else they had for the same money or less. Many cues I’d sooner get. And again, I like CueTec and cynergy shafts generally.

At the US Open Matt had a cue tech booth and a new Diamond. Your were able to hit balls with any/all cues at his booth. I'm guessing maybe 13 different cues. I personally liked the hit, and the feel of their ''wrap'', with this cue. Liked their wrap feel better than leather. Shane would come each day and hit balls.

Yes I like that CueTec wrap too. Get it on an Avid butt for about a grand less. Add a Cynergy shaft and you are still hundreds ahead. The true wood line also has wrapped cues with a cynergy shaft for less. Now maybe the butt is worth it to someone. I don’t tend to knock cues as I like having too many and spending money on stuff I don’t really need. But I don’t quite see it here.

I bet if SVB starts shooting with this butt, CueTec will start selling a bunch more.

I'll be curious to see if he, or other CueTec players, make the move to this cue. Just like carbon shafts my guess is there will be a few early adopters but it'll take 5+ years to see widespread use....but we'll see it in time for sure I think.

Yeah I'm waiting on a new one.
This one is called X Max. 19 oz 58''.
When I ordered in 76 a Zamboti new with 3 shafts, I got his leather wrap, I grew to not like it, later found others I liked.
Last time I purchased a new cue it was 1989, when Stroud was still here with Barb, and Dave was learning his new trade.
I had Dave make me a 3-point rosewood butt/linen wrap, high-definition Birdseye maple handle.
The points have NO surrounding points/layers, just the Red Wood.
58''.... linen wrap with my designed logo on butt end.
3 shafts + one 5'' extension KQ logo on it.
I'm now going to retire this cue and sell it.

I looked at the wrap closer online. Doesn’t look like the same thing as on their others after all. Haven’t seen one in person yet.

I think the no dings no dents will be an amazing butt. However, I wonder how does it feel ? Does it have a solid centrifugal feedbacks like high end wood cues do ?

WTF???? WHAT in the hell is a 'solid centrifrugal feedback'??????????? where do people come up with this bs???? Look, asking how a cue hits/feels is like asking someone what their favorite beer/wine is: ITS ALL SUBJECTIVE. You're going to have to hit it to answer this question. Just be careful and don't let that centrifuge hit you in the head.
