Why would you? You can order one from cue-tec with that joint, no?

I think the factory joint is 3/8x14, not sure, but almost all the LD shafts can be ordered in about any config to the best of my knowledge.
 
I don't think that Cuetec made the R360 to fit anything but their own joint, I could be wrong, but that is the impression I have. Thx
 
I don't believe they make the R-360 shaft to fit other cues...but I think they should try it. It's good shaft. Johnnyt
 
They are so inexpensive it wouldn't pay to have them produce a special shaft.

For what they would charge for a shaft you can get the whole cue stick !

What the OP wants is to use his Schon butt! ...with an R360 shaft. I don't believe you can order one from Cuetec. I think you would have to order a blank and have someone install the joint. Unlike Predator, I don't believe Cuetec offers that.....FYI...I shoot with what I have called a Shane Dechaine,,,,,,.....Cuetec R360 butt and a 314/2 shaft!

Many cuetecs have a smaller than normal joint diameter (.79") so even if you put a 5/16x14 insert into a cuetec shaft, the shaft joint will still be a much smaller diameter than the schon joint which is around .84".
 
I appreciate the feedback, sounds like I wont be trying this idea, lol. Thx Marcus & Spliced, that is the kind of info I was looking for.
