here is a nice piece of curly that I used for this cue it has 4 recut pionts, bloodwood and cocobolo which do not really show up that well but the handle section is a nice straight grain. The cue is for Jimmy Nou,he is a good player out of country club in Chelmsford Ma.

Joe, you have....

....really got it going. That is some of the nicest curly maple that I have ever seen. Also, you didn't do anything in the cue to distract from the wood grain, keeping it as the centerpiece. Sweet!!

Wow what a nice example of how curly maple should look like. I wish all curly was of that quality..................................nice clean looking cue

Looks like soft curly. Nice figure. Is the cue cored?

Yes it is soft curly.I got it at the Valley Forge show a couple years ago from bell forest. The whole cue is cored I use laminated maple on the forearms and I usaully use laminated birch for the handles. Thanks for all the comments on the cue.
